December 25, 1932 ~ August 29, 2021 (age 88)

Tabor City, NC– Daris Vernice Hardee Piver, age 88, died Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Leland House Assisted Living, Leland, NC.  Born December 25, 1932 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mayo Hardee and Addie Cox Hardee and the widow of Avery Piver.

She is survived by one daughter: Belinda Piver Steelman; two sons: Brent Piver and wife Amy and Cephas Piver of Tabor City, NC; five grandchildren: Alisha, Lindsey, Dakota, Hannah and Cara; four great grandchildren: Jase, Annabelle, Maverick and Jake.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 4:00 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
