Coval “Jack” Branch, Jr. age 67, of Chadbourn, passed on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Louise “Susie” Turbeville Branch of the home; three children, Jack Landis Branch (Valerie) of Charlotte, Courtney Lynn Branch-Hajji (Zine) of Chadbourn and Whitney Ashton Branch of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his mother, Hilda White Branch of Evergreen.
Jack was the son of late Coval J. Branch, Sr. and was also preceded in death by a sister, Renita Gail Branch.
He was employed by Carolina Telephone and later know as CenturyLink, retiring in 2018 as a Network Switching Technician with a total of 43 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Willard McPherson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, August 16, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
