Carlton D. Caudill, age 66, of Shallotte, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville. He was born to Junior Dale Caudill and the late Geneva Ruth Key Caudill on August 23, 1954 in Alleghany County.
Carlton served his country in the United States Army for 11 years and then went on to work in construction.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his life partner of 37 years; Mary Yow, a daughter; Debbie Caudill Urban of Sparta, NC, a son; Jason Caudill of Wilkesboro, NC, two sisters; Lois Miller of Statesville, NC and Mary Dobson of Sparta, NC, and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
