June 26, 1940 ~ June 28, 2021 (age 81)

Mr. McKeithan received his angelic wings on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Whiteville.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel, Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Visitation with Mr. James family at 1pm with a 2pm Celebration of Life. Burial at the Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in the Abbottsburg community in Bladenboro.

James was preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Thelma McKeithan; one brother: Robert McKeithan.

James leaves to cherish his memories: special niece: Candice Wright; four sisters: Delois Wright (Harold), Betty DeWitt (Jimmy), Lizzie McKeithan and Bessie Pone; special friend: Mary White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Guests are being received at 279 Wright Rd., Bladenboro, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Motorcade.
