1951 – 2021

Janice Elaine Vanderford Dow 70, of Nakina passed July 12, 2021 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Indiana, the daughter of the late Roy and Bernice Kneller Vanderford.

She is survived by three sisters, Doris Swisher of Bradenton FL, Martha Vasquez and husband, Jerry of New Bern, 
Sue Dickson and husband, Robert of Delaware, OH; two brothers, Thomas “Tom” G. Vanderford and wife, Debbie of Elkhard, IN, Randy Vanderford and wife, Debra of Columbia City, IN; daughter-in-law, Melissa Flemming  Vanderford of Lumberton; Eric and Patricia Dow of Lumberton. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Dow, a son, Christopher Troy Vanderford and her parents.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
