The WTXY/Columbus County News Car Show drew 70 entries, hundreds of spectators and raised $2,750 for the Columbus County Animal Shelter on Saturday.

Vehicles ranging from a 1928 Ford hot rod to a 2021 Dodge Challenger packed the parking lot at the Hills Plaza in South Whiteville. The Black’s Tire Team had a racing truck on display, and young NASCAR enthusiasts took turns firing up the stock racer.

The best in show winner was a 1957 Chevrolet Nomad station wagon.
We have more images on the CCN Facebook page. A list of winners will be posted later.
