Sidney “Sidq” Hampton Hazel, Jr. 74 of Hallsboro died on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Premier Living &Rehab Center, Lake Waccamaw. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He is the son of the late Mr. Sidney Hampton Hazel, Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Boone Hazel of Hallsboro. Services will be conducted June 02, 2021 at 12pm at The Islamic Center of Columbus County, 410 South JK Powell Blvd. Whiteville.

He is survived by his children: Min. Cindy Cherry Graham of Whiteville, Vickie Cherry of Whiteville, Cindy D. Newsome of VA, Yolanda Jones of NJ,  Antwan Pridgen of Fayetteville, Jayla Hazel of Hallsboro. One sister: Joan Hazel of Hallsboro, a host of grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends
