Johnny Monroe Penny age 52, Cerro Gordo, slipped into eternal peace on Wednesday, June 24, 2011. He was born on February 3, 1969 in Thomasville to Lucy Penny and to the late James Penny.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Penny. Survived by his loving mother, Lucy Penny of Chadbourn; two brothers, Sonny Penny, and Tony Penny; two sisters, Rhonda Ritchart (Terry) and Joanna Anderson;  4 nieces, 3 nephews, 9 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
