March 31, 1931 ~ June 10, 2021 (age 90)

Everlean Atkinson quietly began the long sleep in the arms of Jesus Christ on Thursday morning, surrounded by her loving family at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville.

Friday and Saturday have been reserved to honor this loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend as the days to honor her life. A time to visit will be on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5pm – 7pm in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home, Elizabethtown. Services to celebrate the life and legacy will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel in Elizabethtown. Following worship in the Chapel, guests will be escorted to Savannah Temple AME Zion Church Cemetery in Clarkton, for Interment Rites.
