Donald Lee High, age 81, of Whiteville, died Monday, May 31, 2021, at his residence.  Donald was born on November 11, 1939, in Columbus County, to the late Walden High & Beulah Brown High. 

He worked for 28 years in sales with Lance Inc.  He was a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge and a member of Western Prong Baptist Church.

Donald is survived by his son; John Alan High (Elizabeth) of Whiteville, three Granddaughters; Mary Elizabeth “Molly” HIgh of Breckenridge, Colorado, Margaret Worth “Maggie” High and Grace Alan High both of Whiteville, a Sister; Brenda H. Wallace (Willie) of Delco, one Niece; Pamela Miller (Shane) and one Nephew; Ashley Wallace.

Service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Western Prong Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.  Internment will follow in the Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021, at McKenzie Mortuary from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
