Carl Wayne Floyd, age 64, of Tabor City, died Monday, June 21, 2021 in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC.  Born November 30, 1956 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Nelson Tate and Frances Watts Tate.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife: Judy Kay Floyd of Tabor City; three sons: Kenneth Floyd (Cassie) of Myrtle Beach, Daniel Floyd (Toni Kate) of Conway, and Gregory Floyd (Wanda) of Nichols; three daughters: Violet Gore (Delane) of Tabor City, Debra Hewitt Lee (Joseph) of Nichols, SC and Patricia Estep (Frank) of Nichols, SC; one brother: James Tate of Rockingham; one sister: Teresa Tate Johnson of TX; nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
