Patricia “Pat” Cox Sellers, age 77 of the Sellerstown community of Whiteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

“Pat” was born on August 12, 1943 to the late Etheridge Fulton Cox and Vera Lee Ward Cox.  She was the widow of EJ Sellers, who preceded her in June of 2020.  She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Junior Cox, Gerald Cox and Gary Cox.

She is survived by two daughters, Terri Sellers Cox of Whiteville and Melissa Sellers Gore (Raymond) of Whiteville; three siblings, Alice C. Price of Whiteville, Robert Cox of Leland and Diane C. Shelly of Whiteville; grandchildren, Berry Cox (Sid), Michaela Bushee (Hunter), Channing Gore, Devin Gore and Logan Gore (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Asa Gore, Phoenix Garzone and Alana Cox, Moon Cox, Piper Bushee and Berkley Bushee.

Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
