Lila Mae Norris, age 83, of Tabor City, died Monday, May 17, 2021 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC.  Born May 24, 1937 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Grantham and Naomi Bryant Allen and the widow of William Isaac Norris, Sr.

She is survived by three sons: William Isaac Norris, Jr. of Tabor City, Michael Dean Norris of Tabor City and Mitchell Wayne Norris and his wife Francene of Tabor City; two daughters: Cheryl N. Clewis and her husband Jimmy of Whiteville, and Amy N. Fowler and her husband Joey of Tabor City; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Marie Allen.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 in 2:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
