Mr. Billy H. Jones 76, of Whiteville passed on May 27, 2021 at his home.  He was born in March 16, 1945 in Columbus County, the son of the late Casey Jones and Inez Milliken Jones.  

Billy formerly owned and operated Jones Auto Sales in Whiteville.  He was a member  of the Whiteville Church of God.  He was devoted to his family, a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Williams Jones; three sons, Billy Wayne Jones of Cerro Gordo, Roy Jones and wife, Kassidy of Whiteville and Shane Jones of Whiteville; two sisters; Ann Deavers of Bladenboro and Peggy Hewett of Shallotte; 12 grandchildren, Charlena Soles, Summer Jones, Nicole Thompson, Shane Jones, Tori Penrose, Miranda Jones, Chelsea Jones, Trent Jones, Karleigh Jones, Bayleigh Sykes, Jocelyn Sykes,J. R. Sykes; 12 great grandchildren; Tyler Jones, Madison Jones, Kaisen Thompson, Chase Thompson, Parker Thompson, Carter McPherson, Jude Ivy Ward, Tanner Jones, Payzlee Bailey, Gabriel Penrose, Nolan Penrose, Braxton Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Jones.

His funeral service will be at a 3:00 PM Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. 
Allen Strickland officiating.  Burial will be in Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Peacock Funeral Home.
