Mr. Etheridge was born in Columbus County on July 23, 1937, son of the late Willie B. Etheridge and Lola Register Etheridge. Bailey was founder and owner of Etheridge Pest Control for 27 years. He and his wife enjoyed many years of camping and travel in their RV. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Frances Long Etheridge; one sister, Letha Register; and two brothers, Leland Etheridge and George Etheridge.

Bailey was a loving father, survived by his two children, Sandra Willetts and husband Terry of Ocean Isle and Randy Etheridge and wife Melissa of Wake Forest; sister, Verlie Jernigan of Supply; brother, James Woodie Etheridge of Crusoe; five grandchildren, Scott Etheridge and wife Sara, Emily Keteles and husband Andrew, Heath Dosher, Heather Tharp and husband Chuck, and Kelly Reddick; ten great grandchildren, Holden Keteles, Maverick Keteles, Noah Etheridge, Grace Etheridge, Bailey Carmichael, Casey Tharp, Brennan Dosher, Natalie Dosher, Avery Reddick, and Boone Reddick.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Word of Christ Fellowship, 1290 Stone Chimney Road, Supply with Reverend Gerald Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to a time of visitation with the family at the church one hour prior to the service.
