January 4, 1939 ~ May 3, 2021 (age 82)
Ann Brewer Bryan Blake, age 82 of Chadbourn, entered into the presence of her Lord on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. Ann was born on January 4, 1939, in Bertie County, to the late John N. Bryan and Martha Anderson Josey Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Blake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery, with Dr. David Vess officiating.
Ann was a faithful member of Chadbourn Baptist Church, where she served in various capacities over the years. She deeply loved her family and friends; she touched many lives with her compassion, positive outlook, and her joyful spirit. Ann found joy in the simple moments of life.
Survivors include three daughters, Leanne Blake Rosenberg of Cary, Martha Blake Chesnutt (Charles) of Turkey, Sara Blake Koch (Paul) of Raleigh; seven grandchildren, Michael Rosenberg, Meagan Rosenberg, Nicholas Rosenberg, Blake Koch, Sydney Koch, Charles Chesnutt, III, and Caroline Chesnutt; siblings, Johnny Bryan of Morganton, NC and Joe Bryan of Washington, DC.
