Alfredia Ward Ikner, age 86 of Whiteville, died Monday, May 17, 2021 in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville.  Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Leamon George Ikner and Rosettie Williams Ikner.

She is survived by one daughter: Shelvey Jean Long of Clarendon;  one son: Terrance Alverd Ward of Nakina; three sisters: Bufa Mae Milligan Tabor City, Mary Patricia Shanahan of Whiteville, and Diane Ikner of Chadbourn; two brothers: Palmer Ikner of Lexington, and Roy Dale Ikner of Clarendon; seven grandchildren & six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Larry Eugene Ward and Kenneth Earl Ward.

A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC. A service of Inman Ward Funeral Home & Crematory of Tabor City.
