Wanda Carol Thompson, age 62 of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Wanda was born on October 25, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Russell Thompson and her brother, Barry Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Stocks officiating. Interment will follow in the Gowan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45, prior to the service.
