A Graveside Service was held Thursday, April 22, at Cherry Grove Cemetery, 660 Vinson Boulevard, Whiteville, NC.
Surviving are his son, Austin Herron of Pikesville, MD; mother, Gloria Annette Davis of Whiteville; father, Marcus Edwin Smith (Hilda) of Whiteville; sisters, Tyrhonda Gore (Ryan), Marquasia Currie (Elijah), Marnasia Smith, & Martasia Smith of Whiteville, and Demetria Rivers (Daniel) of Wilmington; brothers, Carl Gore & Dwin Gore of Whiteville, Glenn Lewis of Fayetteville, David Finiey, & Marquis Smith of the US Army; paternal grandmother, Louise Smith of Whiteville.
