Carl Yates Warwick, Sr.

July 9, 1941 ~ April 19, 2021 (age 79)

Carl Yates Warwick, Sr., age 79, of Hallsboro, passed away peacefully at Premier Living & Rehab Center of Lake Waccamaw on Monday, April 19, 2021. Carl was born July 9, 1941. The son of the late George Yates Warwick & Bessie Olivia Stadler Warwick. He served in the Coast Guard after graduating from high school, and then worked briefly at the railroad before beginning his career at Federal Paper. Carl retired from International Paper (Federal Paper), after 40 years of service. Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed being outside. He loved spending time at his house on the sound, where he could fish anytime he wanted. He will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Hallsboro Church of God. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care, 206 Warrior Trail Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.
