The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the gruesome discovery of ten dead dogs tied in garbage bags and thrown in a swamp. Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said the dogs, mostly pit bulls, were found during a countywide cleanup effort. Robeson detectives and animal protective services are investigating.
