Man stabbed in Hallsboro store attack

A man was stabbed repeatedly Friday in broad daylight at the Hallsboro sam’s Pit Stop.

James Levi Clewis was arrested Friday night for the attack, Chief Deputy Aaron Herring of the sheriff’s office said,. The victim’s name has not been released.
The stabbing occurred around 2:15 p.m., outside the store, according to a witness who described the attack as a “setup.”

The victim was rushed to Columbus Regional with wounds to the chest, according to radio traffic, but is expected to make a full recovery.
