Officials hope an image from a surveillance camera will help identify an alleged thief in the Nakina area.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, the sheriff’s office says, the individual broke into a garage on MM Ray Road, taking a Stihl leaf blower. Surveillance cameras captured the incident.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is asking that anyone who can identify the suspect call 640.6629.
