One charged in assault with teeth, bat

Teeth and a baseball bat were allegedly used to assault two people Sept. 9.

Christophe Lynn Washington, 43, of 704 Nolan Ave., Whiteville, was charged with two counts of simple assault, one of assault with a deadly weapon and a probation violation in the incident. Bond was set at $11,000 secured.

Warrants show that Washington bit Robert Randolph Watson of Garland on the back, and used a bat to injure Tina Horne’s left hand in a scuffle Sept. 9.  Horne and Watson are from Garland.
