Mary Delores Jenkins Medlin, age 70, of Chadbourn, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at her home.

 Mary was born on April 26, 1950, in Marion, SC, to the late Howard Nathan Jenkins & Gracie Lois Barnhill Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard Larry Jenkins.

 A funeral service was conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Worthington Funeral Home, with interment following in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery; Reverend Dr. Darrin Moore officiated. 

A time of visitation for family and friends was held from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service on Saturday. 

 Mary was the owner and operator of Eastern Underwriters in Leland for 40 years.

 Survivors include her husband, Tylon Delane Medlin of the home; children, Amy M. Stanley (Jay) of Whiteville, Brian Delane Medline (Dawn) of Rocky Point; siblings, Patricia Conner of Chadbourn, Glenda Fipps (Harold) of Chadbourn, Jerry Jenkins (Trudie) of Chadbourn, Janice Medlin of Bristol, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Linda Jenkins of Whiteville; grandchildren, Jacob Cayton, Elizabeth Britt, Riley Britt, Jude Stanley, Christopher Wright, and Justin Wright.

 Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
