Albert Lee Soles, Jr. age 24 of Tabor City, slipped into eternity on Friday, September 11, 2020, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

AJ, as he was lovingly known, was born on January 28, 1996, in Thomasville. He is the son of Albert Lee Soles, Sr., of Chadbourn and Missy Tyler of Whiteville.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Worthington Funeral Home, with Rev. Tomas Perritt officiating; Interment will follow in the Soles Cemetery, Emerson Community.

Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00, Sunday evening at the Funeral Home.

In addition to his biological father, AJ leaves behind his beloved “parents”, Roger Dale and Cathy Soles Ward of the home; sisters, Jamie Ward-Glenn, Brenda Batten, Priscilla Soles, Fonda Stalvey, Jodi Nicole Soles, Leona “Sissy” Whitehurst, Debora Soles, Trish Stanley, and Charlee Jordan; brothers, Bentley Soles and Calvin Soles.
